Overview

A ratcheting tool designed with a button engaged free sliding mechanism making it an ideal tool for a bicycle mechanic.

The first full semester project at The University of Cincinnati, Power Tool Studio, was challenging as it tackled so many different aspects of design in a 15 week time span, but the outcome was so worth it. Throughout this project I had the privilege of interviewing local bicycle experts and got real consumer feedback which was so rewarding.

After visiting a local Cincinnati bike shop, Spun Bicycles, a shop with a big personality and even more lively owner, I was inspired to make his life easier and spare him some of the pain of his carpel tunnel.
