This piece is dedicated to my Abuelo, Alvaro, whom it is named after. As a representation of a loved one and my culture, this stool was a product of passion and intention. It's robust silhouette emulates the traditional Costa Rican Carreta (ox cart) which is deeply rooted in the history of the country but also represents the strength and beauty of the residents and the land.
